Requirements

Vaccinations must be administered at least 48 hours prior to arrival under the guidance of a licensed veterinarian. However, we prefer vaccinations be administered 10 days before check-in. Written proof is required.

DPP (Distemper, Parvovirus & Parainfluenza)

1 or 3-yr. vaccine required

Bordetella

Required every 12 months, however, we recommend every 6 months & at least 7 days prior to check-in to ensure maximum efficiency & protection against Kennel Cough. Please note: many veterinarians administer this vaccine only by request.

Rabies

1 or 3-yr. vaccine required.

Influenza

BOTH Strains of Canine Influenza

Fecal test

Fleas & ticks

In addition to vaccinations, all dogs should be flea and tick free. Campers with signs of fleas and/or ticks won’t be accepted.

Neutering/Spaying

All campers have to be neutered or spayed by the age of 7 months.

Evaluation

We do evaluations Tuesday through Friday.

It needs to be scheduled once the three forms are filled out. Call us for the pricing and to schedule it at (240) 683-1100.

NEW UPPER RESPIRATORY CONTAGIOUS ILLNESS

What we do:

  • Floors and toys are already sanitized through our daily protocol.
  • Air purifiers are working 24/7
  • No water bowl sharing: water is given individually in disposable cups.
  • If a pup exhibits any sign from that illness (lethargy, sneezing, coughing, eyes or nose discharge), the pup is quarantined, and parents are called immediately.

What we required you to do:

  • Keep your pup home if he displays any of these symptoms and take him/her to your vet: lethargy, lack of appetite, sneezing, coughing, nose or eyes discharge.
  • Keep your dog out of the daycare for ten days after:
    • a routine visit at your veterinarian,
    • grooming
    • going to dog park
    • socializing during walks
    • training classes
    • pet stores outings
    • any place where your pup met another pup.

Dogs need to socialize and have friends to play with (we saw how hard it was for the Covid pups after Covid!) but we have to keep it safe. Our daycare is like a bubble and if everyone plays by the rules, every pup should stay safe.
